laine Botten was born and raised in Wyoming and has been horse crazy as long as she can remember. She grew up riding horses, began barrel racing and even became rodeo queen on more than one occasion! She later moved into training and showing quarter horses. Elaine has had a model horse collection since she was a small child. Her current collection includes Breyers, Peter Stones and artist resins, all of which she cherishes. She actually stumbled into the "custom model horse" arena and immediately tried her hand at customizing model horses. She did her first extreme custom in 2005 and is looking forward to honing her skills and creating an original sculpture. She discovered photo showing in 2007 and although she is a novice has surprised herself and is doing quite well even producing some winners. She currently lives in South Carolina with her husband, basset hounds and a bloodhound.
