STRAWBERRY JAM

Kathi on creating the sculpture: Strawberry Jam is a real ASB that I met in the Fall of 1997. She was the Wisconsin Futurity Champion Weanling filly that year. I spent a pleasant afternoon at the farm with her and her trainer the week after the show. She was a beautiful, bright chestnut, baby with the sweetest temperament. Trotting and cantering about in her paddock, she looked as delicate as a fawn. I hope that I managed to capture some of her spirit in this sculpture.
