This company was based in Germany, and started out with the name of Hau_er back in 1900. Some years later the name was changed to Elastolin. This company made a variety of extremely detailed figurines, first from metal and then from plastic. Elastolin operated until the early 1990's, when it went bankrupt and was taken over by a company by the name of Preisser. Preisser is still producing some of the former models but unfortunately not to the high standarts like Hau_er/Elastolin did before. Their more recent equine models were plastic and measured between the size of a Breyer Stablemate and a Littlebit. Finely detailed, they needed only a little bit of resculpting to make very nice show models. They made several models, each available in light grey, chestnut and black: warmbloods in the following positions: grazing, standing, rearing, and trotting; also available was a standing drafter, a donkey, a zebra, and a standing and trotting foal sold as a set.
