Walking black and white pinto
On Left shoulder he has a symbol: tiny registered circle big E with a crown over it and EMPIRE on the lower bar of the E. On Left flank:©1974 CAROLINA ENTERPRISES INC ALL RIGHTS RESERVED spaced on 3 lines. Size: 11" from hoof to ear tips and 13" nose to tail with head tucked in. Shown as Butch; owned by Janice Williford. Thoughts: My Aunt picked him up for me at a garage sale in the early 1980's. He looks like the Gabriel horses for the Lone Ranger and Tonto series. I don't have any information on their maker marks so he may be one of them. I always thought so until I saw the Empire symbol on his shoulder. His head moves up and down, he appears to have had a bridle, saddle and martingale at one point as he has the classic melt patterns in those areas. He is not the prettiest horse with his big nose and ears, and his bared teeth, but I haven't found another one in this color. Someone told me he was Butch Cavendish's horse (thus the name Butch), but his horse was black, and named Smoke. His joints are loose.
