Welcome to the
LINDA HARDY GALLERY

empty emptyinda (Leach) Hardy of DragonQuest Studios, is one of our long-time customizers, and has been creating champions since the 1970's. She was most popular in the late 1970's to mid-1980's when it was nearly impossible to enter a show without classes being filled with "DQ's"! Her most popular pieces are Appaloosas and Arabians, though she is also known for her Morgans, Paints, and drafters. Linda uses oils as her painting medium, and Linda's style makes her models easy to recognize!

Linda's favorite breed is the Andalusian, and her favorite models are Hagen-Renakers. When customizing, Linda most enjoys working with the Breyer Traditional Lady Phase, Proud Arabian family, Misty's Twilight, Morganglanz, Hanoverian, Classic models, the Littlebit Saddlebred and Quarter Horse, and the Stablemate Arabian Stallion.

45 years old now and married for 18 years, Linda doesn't currently own any (real) horses but she does ride on a regular basis. Though she's best known in the hobby for her model horses, Linda is also a very talented portrait artist of horses and other animals. She also has her own line of stationary, each embellished with her own drawings.
