The Arabian Unicorn - Noor
Black and white Unicorn stallion customized from the Breyer Craft Kit Horse with Panpastels and mohair. Ryan describes this piece: I used the marking of the Arabian Oryx as the pattern and coat color. Some people believe it was the Oryx that inspired the Unicorn. When these antelope are seen from a distance and profiled they look very much like a horse with a single horn. I was surfing the internet and I saw a page that used “Arabian Unicorn”. Looking at the model which is Arabish, and then combine the marking of the Oryx, I created Noor. This was my first attempt using Panpastels.
