ve Forward-Rollins first became interested in horses about the time she learned to focus her eyes and toddle, and was able to invade her older sister's room and wreak havoc upon the collection of china and plastic horses therein. She later was given these for her own charge and still has the Man-O-War and Justin Morgan from those days, the china ones having mostly fallen (in pieces) by the wayside.
Her favorite breed of horse is anything of the draft persuasion, which she likes because they have butts even larger than her own. She also likes their feathery feet. Her favorite color is dapple grey although she has a fondness for anything with dapples, really. She lives in Mill Creek, Washington State, with her very tolerant husband, two cats, some ferrets, and assorted other sorts of wildlife including snakes and miniature roses, but no kids.
Eve Forward-Rollins has been customizing since about 1995. She works primarily in acrylics and does all her painting by hand. She specializes in Stablemate scale and smaller, but has been known to branch out into larger pieces from time to time. She especially likes painting unusual colors and patterns. She is also a published author of fantasy novels and does the occasional fantasy piece. Her signature mark is often hard to see or absent on older pieces, but consists of an EF and usually the last two digits of the year.
