BREYER
TRADITIONALS:
ETHERAL
Released circa 2007. Sculpted by Kathleen Moody
Kathleen on the mold creation process: Etheral was a "built-by-committee" horse created years ago and only recently released. He was the original "broken mold" horse but they liked him too much to destroy the mold. He was never meant to live-! (Actually, I wish they had broken him rather than the really nice mold they DID break-! But that's just me.) I was given a calender picture of a horse cantering at a 3/4 angle to the camera. Looked fabulous as a photo, but when I did him in 3D, it just wasn't the same. My original name "Etereal", was retained, however, so I was happy about that. As to breed? There really was no particular breed of the horse in the photo- some kind of saddlebred-y cross, I think. Looks good in pinto!
