Known as "Cefnoakpark Bouncer, Welsh Pony of Type C," new 2007 mold scuplted by Kathleen Moody. Image taken at BreyerWest 2007. Kathleen describers the creation process: "Bouncer" was an idea that came from a MoodyMadness list member by the name of Matt (who appartantly has left as he has not been heard from in a while). He worked for a farm where they raised Welsh Ponies and sent me some really nice reference photos. Since I am a previous Welsh Pony owner, I am especially fond of these little guys and since Breyer has few ponies, decided to do one we could be proud of. This little guy is very much like my own "Raider" a Welsh gelding I drove everywhere and showed in local shows. Even the color is very close to what he was. I originally was going to put this model up in resin, but decided more people could have him if he were in plastic, so I sold him to Breyer.
