empty Desert Son Treasure Box, Crackly Oasis Green
Created 2007. The highly intelligent and spirited Arabian horse has been prized by horsemen for generations. This approximately 4.25” x 4.25” relief earthenware tile is glazed in crackly Oasis Green and set into a lovely keyed hardwood box (6.5” L x 6.5” W x 2.5” H).

empty Free Spirit Terra Cotta Box
Created 2007. At 3.75” diameter, 3.25” high this terra cotta “box” is the perfect size to hold little treats or treasures. The exterior of the box is glazed matte sage green; the noble horse bas relief has been stained with a dark underglaze to accentuate the detailed sculpture whose warm terra cotta tones are complimented by a background that ranges from sky blue to dusky redwood. I strive for consistency in size and color, knowing that each piece is imbued with its own personality through the synergy of earth and fire.

Created 2009. Lynn describes this piece: silent auction item for Breakables Live Show at the BreyerFest Birthday Bash. I sculpted this ornament back in 2002, but until now fido has only been given to family and friends who have a lovable Lab or Lab mix in their lives.
