nthea Smith, of Silver Wolf Studios, has been collecting models since the early 80's. She has loved horses as long as she can remember, and began repainting her models at a very early age.
Anthea has always prefered the small, manageable size of the Breyer Stablemates, even though many of her local model hobby friends thought she was insane for remaking the little SMs! To this day, she still specializes in the minis and seldom does a horse larger than classic scale.
Anthea works full-time as a Paramedic in the Hospital Emergency room, so has little time to paint custom orders. She occasionally has a saleslist of finished pieces (mostly minis!) for sale.
Besides painting models and working in the ER, Anthea is involved in helping host the Southeast's largest show, the Sunshine State Live Show held in Tallahassee, Florida in February of each year. She is also very active in live showing, and attends as many shows each year. Anthea is also a live show judge, and has judged at The Sunshine State Live Show and the Steel City Live Show.
