eather Tarr, of H.A.T. Studios:, began collecting Breyer horses at the age of 5 when she recieved her first models as Christmas gifts. They consisted of the "Our First Pony" gift set and a pair of apricot dun Adios models.

She began customizing her own models at the age of 13, and still does so today. Today her collection is made up of various models including Breyer, Peter Stone, Artists Resins and Porcelains.

Heather prefers to work with high quality acrylic paints and sprays, using airbrushing and hand painting techniques. She plans to try her hand at major sculpting projects and eventually create an original sculpture.

Heather owns a 16.2hh Thoroughbred mare named "Whisper" and a Malamute/Husky/German Shepherd mix named "Kodiak".
