Tobiano Mare and foal
Mare: Blue roan tobiano, complete with cat tracks. Since she lives on the range and isn't bathed too often, she is quite dirty ... especially her lower hind legs and tail ... what's a girl to do? Customized from the Sarah Rose Nevada resin. Foal: Baby coated dark bay tobiano, he may roan later with age ... too young to tell at this point. He's a young one and hasn't had as much time to get dirty and stained up, like mom. Customized from the Sarah Rose Poquito resin. Both created 2005.

Mahpee
Blue roan pinto customized from the Breyer Classic Mustang Stallion, created 2006. Tom describes the horse as follows: [H]e has a real "wild horse" feel to him. He has so many details this bad photo doesn't really illustrate ... from his many "cat tracks" to a couple scars, body shading, dappling, dirty features, etc. Has a blue eye on the left side and brown on the right. Oh, and I was real clever I think and actually painted a "battle wound" on him (kick mark) on his left side ... slightly shaded like a hoof print where it removed some of his white hair and left the pink skin underneath, with a touch of blood.
