La Passione
Young dapple grey (with a little rose) Thoroughbred mare, customized from the Carol Williams Victrix resin; created 2008. Tom describes this piece: Lovely variety to her dappling, various sizes, shapes and depth gives her a realistic look so sought after with collector/showers. Four short white pasterns with natural hooves that have a touch of hoof oil added to them for the authentic "hunter look".
Velvet
Sable dun Thoroughbred mare, customized from the Carol Williams Victrix resin; created 2008. Tom describes this piece: Quite a story with this lovely girl! She originally was a custom order that morphed into her own identity ... orginally to be a bay overo the end result is this classic solid sable dun. I liked her so much I couldn't bare to add white markings or alter her color, so am selling her as she is and starting over on another Victrix body for the custom order. Her color is so soft and velvety, I couldn't help but name her Velvet. It is a lovely shade ranging from fawn to darker chocolates with many layers thoroughout. No white markings, just classic dun factoring which includes her dorsal stripe, leg barring, shoulder barring, forehead cobwebbing and more. Hard to see all this in the photo as it is subtle and lifelike. Photo was taken without any sun so you do not get a real feel for her true beauty.
Salbador
Dapple grey Thoroughbred gelding, customized from the Carol Williams Venator resin; created 2008. Tom describes: I painted this handsome chap into a soft sooty chestnut going dapple grey. His color has many different hues and richness that cannot be seen in this photo. Ranges from the chestnut to white with layers of dapples in assorted size and shape.

Shardonnay and Santino
Dark dapple grey tobiano warmblood mare, customized from the Breyer Giselle and dark baby bay tobiano warmblood foal, customized from the Breyer Gilen; created 2010. Tom describes these pieces: Well, when you have something so fun to paint, they seem to paint themself ... this couple sure did. They wanted to be pintos so that was easy, Momma then told me she wanted to be a medium dark dapple grey and her son, Santino, a dark baby bay just starting to think about going grey. I think the end results are quite nice. You got lots of color, detail and charisma all in a nice little package.
Shar has layers of dappling in various size and shapes, while her pattern is a classic Tobiano one. Her white is a slight offwhite, not the stark "pepsodent" white you see all too often. Add in there some pinking and dirty it up abit for realism and you have quite a looker. She sports a few ermine spots and hoof striping, a delicate star and snip and too many more details to mention. Santino, well, he's a cutie! Look at where the white hairs are starting to come in around his eyes and muzzle ... he's gonna be a grey tobiano like Momma someday.
Sunflower
Dapple buckskin tobiano warmblood mare, customized from the Breyer Giselle; created 2010. Tom describes this piece: This particular girl was begging to be a dapple buckskin tobiano. It was an ambitious undertaking as it involved extra work, but the results are well worth it, I think. What a great Warmblood addition to your herd she will make, adding sunshine everywhere she goes..
Sunflower has layers of dappling in various size and shapes, not to mention all the other bells and whistles going on. Her base coloring is a lovely creamy buckskin with some richer and deeper shading, nothing acidy or harsh about it. She sports the cutest face ever, you will just want to plant a big kiss on her muzzle. Lots of detail you cannot see .. from lip wrinkles to shaded chestnuts. I tried a new photo area and it still doesn't read 100% accurate, but better than my previous photos. I truly believe she is perhaps one of my best paint jobs ever ... no kidding!
