amie Coughlin is one of our true veterans--she's been customizing models for over 20 years! This is by far the largest Artist Gallery yet, containing nearly 200 pictures of her creations, and yet, Jamie tells me that these photos show only about HALF of the models she's done over the years! WOW!
Jamie "officially" started showing in 1975, although she and a small group of friends were showing and "racing" their models before they ever knew a hobby for these miniatures existed. She began painting and hairing her models all the way back when she was six years old, knowing she could make a model better than a plain ol' OF!
Arthritis in her hands has slowed her customizing considerably, sometimes to a standstill; this is the main reason she decided to join the resin parade.
Jamie is a Lab Technician at the Mulrennan Research Lab/Florida A & M University (Entomology Lab) and in her "spare" time she rescues and spays animals belonging to irresponsible people. Currently she has 4 dogs, 10 cats, 10 chickens, 4 rabbits, 2 goats and Summer (the black TB who did indeed come home to live with her).
