This very small showing of Rene's work will give you an indication of this artist's remarkabe talent, but if you'd like to see more, Renee also sculpted some of the American Artists models--most notably the Secretariat & Alysheba. It's thought she sculpted Danbury Mint's Perillo Indian ponies. Elizabeth Bouras mentioned that a couple of decades ago she met a man at a miniature soldiers show who had prototypes of some amazing Stablemate-scale sculptures of Rene's that he was going to produce in resin. Unfortunately, she lost contact with this person and though she strongly suggested he advertise in the Hobby Horse News, nothing ever came of it.
