"Skewbald" Family
The skewbald family is Rosso the quarter horse (2006), Scarlet the yearling (2006) and William Lee the hunter stallion (sold as Jigsaw in the originals catalogue in 1995). Photo provided by Laura Bond. Curators' note: Skewbald is the term used in the UK for a non black pinto pattern (so bay, chestnut, grey, roan, etc.).

Bay stallion, mare and foal
The bay family is Bracken (from 2006, sold as Barney in the catalogue) in the family horse mould, Doubting Thomas (from around 1995) who is a cob stallion and a current mould foal named Cracker. Bracken is the one on the left of the picture, Thomas is on the right. Photo provided by Laura Bond.

Callisto was a special order in 2008 in the Family Horse mould. I asked for a speckly/shaded palominoÊwith a 'funky' blaze and I was very pleased with the result! Images provided by Christine Sutcliffe.

Family Horse in bay pinto
One of the best aspects of the Julip Live shows are the ‘Paint Your Own’ sessions where you buy either a blank body in advance and add paint, or order a specific colour which you can then add white markings to. I had always fancied ordering a very loud sabino on the Family Horse mould to have as a Criollo but I decided to give it a go myself when I went to the live and thus, ‘Manchego’ was born.
