Hunter in bay
This is a late 2009 special order on the ‘Hunter’ mould. I asked for a custom ‘bendy neck’ as well and although it’s not hugely obvious in these photos, it does bend!
Shown as ‘The Abbot of Unreason’. Owned and photographed by Christine Sutcliffe.
Hunter in silver dapple
I bought this lovely Hunter secondhand but he had been a portrait model of another collector’s favourite riding school horse, ordered in 2009. I rehaired him with mohair shortly after arrival. These two photographs were taken before I’d added darker colour to the roots of his mane and tail – a common trait amongst silver dapples. I called him Giovanni. Owned and photographed by Christine Sutcliffe.
