This guideline provides some ideas about showmanship.
Including information in show materials (web site, program) about expected behavior is only a start. It should clearly state that the show holder's word is final and address any refund or forfeiture of show fees if a person/shower is asked to leave the venue. It should also address non-showers in the show area as well as pets
During the show, the show holder may have to intervene in any disputes. This could be between shower and judge, or shower and shower. (I realize it's not pleasant, but it may have to be done.)
